I finally wore out the soles on my first pair (though they'll retain indoor duty) so this is my second pair, and they seem to be even better than I remember by first pair being new. They're not cheap, and there's a pile of good reasons. Worth every penny.

Solid moccasins. Extremely comfortable, good grip, quality build and convenient cinch to help hold them on properly.

I have had a pair of the arctic mukluks from Steger for years and am extremely excited to add something with a bit more practical for daily use when its not "arctic" weather.

Side note: I did use the water-based waterproofing, which I was properly warned by staff that it would darken the finish... Aaaaand, Surprise!
It did. It definitely made them a bit darker.
That said, I definitely like them this color more. Personal preference; and rather ironically, it gives them a much more "naturally tanned" look to me.

just what I've been looking for.

I still use my Yukon and extreme mukluks that are some 8+ yrs old. Still the warmest boots ever. This pair of moccasins is my third. They are great same quality as before. Don't stop making them again.

Living in Fairbanks, Alaska means extremely cold winters. I've purchased other brands of winter boots and each time, my feet are still cold! That all changed when I got my Steger mukluks! The boots didn't just keep me warm but it also kept me upright. The soles offer a lot of grip even on slippery, icy surfaces. These are worth every penny and are the best winter boots ever made!

This is my 2nd pair. My first pair carried me through 15 hard winters and could do a few more honestly. These boots are well worth the money especially in colder climates like Northern Canada where temperatures dip to -40 or -50 celcius (-58 Fahrenheit). I love these boots!

These Muckluks are really nice. They are very comfortable ad broke in easily. The snow repellant was very easy to apply and went on just as advertised. I love these boots and will be going to Steger’s from now on. In addition their customer service was very responsive when I called to ask a question. I would definitely recommend them.

My second pair of Steger Moccasins and I am very pleased. I have issues with footwear hurting my feet like little coffins. Steger offers a natural footwear option that to me is foot freedom. I love these moccasins and highly recommend for anyone looking to step out of synthetic, artificial footwear and into pure natural comfort.
