Let customers speak for us
from 333 reviewsI have had my Chestnut Chicks for 10 years now and it was time to replace the inner liners. So back to Steger Web Page I went.
The ease to order what comes with each boot originally is so nice. The descriptions tells you exactly what liner, insoles etc the boot takes. My first order for insoles were for my 3rd pair which are North Country’s, they were still holding up but they needed a freshen up inside, so I got both radiant and contoured liners. Then took the time to clean them really good then water protected them all with the products to clean here at Steger.
Once the new liners were in my Chestnut Chicks I realized I need a contoured and radiant insoles for those as well.
I love my boots and going to get some Little Chicks next. That style was my very first bought in the early 2000’s. I had taken them to be resoled and now wear them for bee keeping.
Thank you for the best quality moose hide boots, made.
Warm winter so far in AK, but I love the light weight, flexible sole, and warmth of the wool insoles.. practical elements in a beautiful design. Thanks, Stegers
Once I got them on they fit perfectly. Warm toes no matter how cold out. Wonderful product.
These boots were perfect. My only issue is the boots are a little snug around my calves. I foresee having issues if I have to wear them over jeans or thicker fabric. Hopefully they will stretch out over time, being snug but accommodating to thicker fabrics.
Very warm boots. We followed the sizing instructions and they fit perfect.
Very warm and comfortable - like wearing a pair of slippers. I should have bought these years ago.
These are fashionable and warm. I am so glad I went with these vs uggs.
Excellent so far. The quality sells itself.
I have a pair of the Arctics, but wanted a more utilitarian pair for outdoor work as an electrician. I love the more durable cordura uppers and cinching system. Still warm as ever. I love my mukluks!
I have no bad thoughts about any of the mukluks I've had from Steger Mukluks. They've all been GREAT!
I absolutely love my Mukluks! They are comfy and extremely warm! 100% worth the money.
MukLuks are a lifesaver for Alaskan winters! They combine incredible warmth with lightweight comfort, making them perfect for everything from quick trips outside to long days in the snow. The natural materials and soft, flexible design allow for excellent mobility while still keeping your feet toasty in the coldest conditions. I love how versatile they are—great for both everyday use and outdoor adventures. With few options in Alaska, MukLuks stand out as a practical, reliable, and timeless choice. If you need durable, warm, and comfortable footwear, MukLuks are the way to go!
